Default Pocono Mountain medical center (Hosipital) a gun free zone?

I have to go there later today for a very unwanted test and was wondering if this is a posted gun free zone. My wife has to take me since I will not be able to drive myself home and do not like to leave firearms locked in my car.

I checked their web site and didn't see anything and a forum search didn't show anything.

    Thanks In advance.

They do not have a sign posted. I work for PMC but they prefer you leave the weapon in your car.

Is the parking off street or in a secured lot?

They have an open lot,not secured, they do have valet parking and it is not in a secured area I have been to the hospital and cancer center a lot this past month all the time ccw and do not have any issues there.I also do not believe it prudent to leave a firearm in an vehicle that is not occupied by an adult ! Yes! And as most hospitals, that facility is are also a "WiFi" "Gun Not Free Speech Zone" too. The PAFOA site, as any other firearms related place on the WEB is blocked via the hospital WiFi operation.

Just an up date-As recently as last night my wife a cancer patient was treated for fever and low white cell count ! I CCW all the time, and lesson to be learned one night I did not carry at all due to wifes emergency treatment when i left hospital at 8pm I drove across the stree to gas station to fill up.I was approached from behind and while gassing up and had an appeal for money from a skell looking man stating he needed to get to the GWB in a hurry ! He tried again vocally but my defensive stance gave him the impression I was not to be fucked with ! He backed off and was repeatdly denied money from others ! Moral,Do Not think for one moment you can go without your CCW,Things could have escalated ! MDT

Thanks for adding the word "skell" to my vocabulary.

I'll also second your opinion. East Stroudsburg isn't what it used to be. I've been approached by some skell at that same gas station. Also, I won't go to the nearby Walmart shopping complex after dark. Hell, I avoid it during the day whenever possible.
