Well, ya know, those damn things just go off by themselves. Guns don't kill people, POLICE do !!!!

If someone that I worked with did that they would need to have that gun removed surgically from their ass!!!!!!

It's hard to see if the guy gets hit or not, but it's clear that she didn't intend to fire as she holsters it immediately. The guy getting cuffed was cooperating completely. Truly WTF!!! I'm not saying female cops are worse than male cops. I know of 2 locally that will out shoot guys any day. I know women shoot very well. This chick looks like the same one who had the backwards AR mag. maybe they should make her use a NY2 trigger. Or better yet, give her a sigma.

This is an old video. The dude was unharmed, other than needing replacement underwear. I'm sure he got a nice settlement.

On the side of that dumb bitch, she needs to be fired immediately, have her trigger finger amputated and spend a LONG time in a deep, dark, lonely hole, to ponder upon the fact that she is completely and utterly useless.

Why is she pointing her gun at the dude's head, when he is cooperating 100%, not posing a threat, already on the ground being handcuffed??

This reminds me of the optometrist, in Florida ( I believe), whose house or workplace was raided because of an unsanctioned poker game (WTF x2!). Only to have some adrenaline junkie SWAT a-hole pop a cap in the back of his head as he was being handcuffed.

They really should issue double-action guns to police by default and teach them to use them, and if they want to use otherwise they can buy it themselves.

Cause that was crazy. Glocks are incredibly safe only if the person follows basic gun safety, which police and their, "Put my finger in the triggerguard and point it at my suspect's chest at the first sign of hostility" stradegy do not adhere to...

You do not need to be pointing a gun at a man pinned to the ground.

Furthermore, if that guy did something really hostile and she needed to waste him with the amount of urgency she's acting like she has, then why did she miss on her accidental discharge? Not that I wanted him to get shot, but why did she miss a target she was aiming at at 3 feet away, even by accident?

She wasn't really payng attention anyways.

Yes, maybe a DAO pistol could have prevented this, but no matter what gun is in the holster there is no reason for things like this.

This is just my opinion, but I think police draw their guns way too much these days. This whole military/swat mentality is going a little too far.
