STOLEN GUN!!!
Hey guys I need some help and info. My gun was stolen from car that I left over night locked in my glove compartment! The story is I took my kids to the park the day before and decided to lock my gun up while I play with the kids. On my way home I got my kids out of the car with all their belongings and just went into my home. I did not double check to see if I locked my car door... Obviously I did not but gun was locked!! anyway they still got into my car popped open the glove compartment and took my gun I reported my weapon stolen as I thought was the right thing to do and now the detective told me my LTCF will be revoked ((( I am a single mother who lives in philly that needs to be protected at all times... anyway what do I do?? I want to fight it. I don't believe it should be taken away. please spare the rude comments I just need to know what should I do?

You should secure your firearms in the future. Not being rude, being honest.
I second RLS, find a Pro-2A attorney, against Philly, you WILL need it.

Re: STOLEN GUN!!!
I understand! It was a spare of the moment kind of thing. I usually just keep it on me. I never keep it in the car because of this

Re: STOLEN GUN!!!
I didn't notice that you were from Philly until I hit the point in you post where you stated that your license would be revoked. When I read that, I stopped to look at your screen name to see where you were from. Sure enough. I don't know how or why they find it necessary to persecute the person that had noting to do with the crime. A criminal broke into your car (which to me, is the same as breaking into your house) and steals your gun, and you're the one to blame. Only in Philadelphia! They need to be sued over this unjust law. As has already been stated, Philly only listens when it costs them money.
I wish you a good outcome on this bad situation.

Re: STOLEN GUN!!!
In fact, is it even legal for Philadelphia to pass such a law? Don't they need to follow the gun laws of PA? This should be a preemption matter.
