    Default another successful Allagash hunt

    Just returned from Allagash this morning. Shot a 250 pound black bear on Tuesday about 7:00 PM. Six went, four were successful. Really hot this season, not many bears were actually spotted.

    It is a bit confusing right now, the last two yrs. I hunted with Black River Guide Service, run by Jan and Brinda Soucy. This year Jan and Brinda had sold their guide service to the Morgan family who own Allagash Wilderness Camps but Jan Soucy was still my guide and I stayed in his camp.

    He also won a free bear hunting trip next year, cause he shot the largest. It was also his first bear hunt ever.
