How can something be illegal on the federal level and legal on the state level? I'm not arguing that it's illegal at the federal level, that's pretty obvious. My point is why are they allowing the shops to stay open in certain states if it's illegal? Not to mention this administration is freeing drug dealers and wants to restore their right to vote. They shouldn't be able to have it both ways.

This is nothing more than trying to prohibit another group of people.

This from a person who has never even tried an illicit drug.

I don't get all the hype about legalizing the stuff. I never tried it and never will. Never felt the need to.

I tend to skim articles so perhaps I'm missing something or misunderstanding something.

I have never smoke dope and am not even a proponent of making it legal so I have no horse here, but this just sounds convoluted to me.
Just having the card doesn't make them prohibited. They actually have to use. Marijuana use is illegal in a federal level. In this case the person didn't use they just had the card. The court determined that just having a card makes you prohibited. Another terrible court decision.

Same here although if Hillary wins in November I might just say screw it and try getting stoned. Perhaps that way I won't feel the pain of the next four years

Well....that's like owning an A\R-15. Just having one means your going to use it in a mass shooting and.....oh wait....oh shit.....that's not how it's suppose to work. Damn....got it wrong again....
