Israeli Fighting Pistol - Rubicon Training Group - Saturday, October 1, 2016

INSTRUCTOR: MARK BOOHER, JD, CPS, is the Senior Instructor for Rubicon Training Group, an intelligence and security training company serving the military, law enforcement, and the private sector.
Mark is a veteran of the United States Army where he spent 5 years in the intelligence and security field specializing in force protection. He is also a Certified Executive Protection Specialist and has traveled to Israel to study counter-terrorism, security, shooting methods there.
Following his military service, Mark studied law at the University of Arkansas and spent 6 years as a deputy prosecuting attorney. During his time, he prosecuted hundreds of cases involving shootings, batteries, and other violent crimes. His experience has given him a unique insight and perspective into the way violence actually occurs on the street and what it takes to survive a deadly encounters.

FAQs
Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event?
You need to be 18 or older to participate in our events.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You do not need to bring you ticket to the event. We will have a roster of all attendees taken from the registration site.
What is the refund policy?
Full refund for cancellations received 10 business days prior to the event. We do not offer refunds due to inclement weather, floods, earthquakes and other Acts of God that may prevent us from cancelling an event, but you will receive full credit to use for one of our subsequent events.
What kind of gun should I use?
Any semiautatic hand gun will work. Pistols with magazines that carry at least a 10 round capacity is optimal and recommended, but not required.

We hope to hold a Level II class next year. I am not sure about Level I at this time.

I would expect only 1 Level II class next year, but perhaps another. Scheduling is very difficult for our club due to the large number of events on the calendar. Perhaps another Level I too but we very much want to include a carbine class. Also we are holding a new Tactical Knife Seminar on Oct. 2 of this year. The cost is 50.00 and I believe the time is 8:30 to 12:30. Check Rubicon Training Group's website for the details and registration.

Here are some pictures from the last class (there are more in older posts):
FOR STARTERS, YOU GET TO SHOOT WITH SUPPRESSORS (not everyone has the resources to do this, this is a pretty cool aspect of training with RTG. They always bring something new to the class.
Definitely get to learn a few disarming techniques. Mind is the weapon...
The fatal funnel drill. 1 tango per room.

We always have a good time, learned a lot going through it twice. Bummed we're missing the knife class but I'll be working and I'm saving my days off for hunting.
