    Default Alien Gear plastic clips

I have a Crossbreed super tuck holster I carry my Glock 22 in, great holster. I bought one of the new nylon aliens gear holsters with the plastic clips for another gun I wanted to carry, One day walking around Wal-Mart with the Alien holster on. I could feel the holster working off the belt and creeping up. I went too the rest room and re secured the holster. I placed an order for the metal clips. I have had no further problems with the holster with the Metal belt clips. I know I will not trust the plastic clips again.

I bought a gun belt from Alien Gear along with the holster ($15 off for the pair). The nylon clips fit perfectly and snap over the belt securely. No problems here.
I believe Alien Gear recommends the plastic ones. But whatever works for you.

I see this is your first post. Welcome to Paofa

Solution: Open carry, in a holster.

No more clips to deal with.

The metal clips are sturdier, but the metal clip on my old N82 tactical holster put tiny holes in my shirt due to friction while seated. Plastic clips won't do that. Figure out what is more important.

I wear a kydex owb holster 98% of the time so I no longer have that issue.

Get metal clips and dip them in the rubber stuff you dip tool handles into?

the metal is YUGELY more secure but not at comfortable. I wish they made steel ones enrobed in leather
