Who has a fn 5.7?
I was wondering who has one. Do you like it? Dislike it? Are you near Philly where I can buy some ammo and shoot it?

Love mine. Very lightweight and hardly any recoil.
Ammo can be hard to find locally at times. Tanner's in Jamison sells the ammo, but I usually wait until Palmetto State Armory has it on sale and pick up a few boxes from them.

I had one...good pistol...a bit bulky if you have regular sized hands. The safety position takes some getting used to as it's not in the traditional spot.
If you really want to ring out everything the 5.7 offers...you are going to spend big bucks on SS190 etc ammo as the current factory ammo isn't all that great.

I had one and found it a very well made pistol. I didn't particularly like the safety location but that was probably my only issue. Ammo was and probably still is very available online, go to wiki ammo. Also look for free shipping promotions common with Sportsmans guide and also cabelas.
Enjoy it!

Re: Who has a fn 5.7?
I had one and liked it. I eventually traded it in on a S&W 460 mag to further fulfil my bigbore collection. It sold at the store I traded it in at in under 10 minutes. I hadn't even finished the paperwork for the 460 and the 5.7 was gone.
Buy ammo in bulk when it goes on sale. I was buying mine from Cabela's at the time.www.Steelvalleycasting.com is your new home for coated bullets and custom ammo.

Had a PS90, nice gun but not much in the way of ammo variety unless your willing to pay 2.00 a rnd for the good stuff. Sold it.

Re: Who has a fn 5.7?
I have fairly large hands as in I can hold and shoot a USP 45 one handed. Anyone near Philly want to meet up and if you could let me shoot one? I can bring my Smith and Wesson 500?

I have one don't shoot it a lot, but then again I don't go shooting that often. I leave my safety off problem solved. Elite ammo has the good stuff.

I love the capabilities of the 5.7 round, but the safety on the gun is a no-go for self-defense applications, IMO.
I wish Glock could make a 5.7.
