^Maintaining the Republican majority is what has to happen and we must tolerate Toomey for that. Hopefully, he will be persuaded by the GOP to tow the line on 2A and other conservative issues. There would be zero chance of McGinty ever voting that way.

We already know we can't trust Toomey but that can be dealt with as long as there's a Republican majority. If the Senate is lost to Democrats, just imagine what damage Associate Justice of the Supreme Court Barack H. Obama or Wm. J. Clinton or Chief Justice Sonja Sotomayor can do!
I heard Wakefield had a huge war chest and the signatures lined up to start a run.

Then the CIA and SealTeam Six called him away for a secret mission to infiltrate Kim Jong Uns inner circle by posing as Dennis Rodman...

Look at the damage caused by the ANTI-Corbett votes - We got Wolf & Kane - The republican voters in this state must all hang together or they'll all hang separately....

The problem of getting good candidates is that NONE of the current crop believes in the Constitutional boundaries of government - therefore, they ALL want the government to expand and take control of more of our life, liberty and pursuit of happiness... NOT ONE will vociferously call for smaller government (back to the Founder's intended boundaries)... NOT ONE can make it to the State or Federal level if they have not towed either party's demand for BIG GOVERNMENT with themselves in charge... Rand Paul is maybe the only one who actually fought for Constitutional constraints...

As the government(s) expand, we the people are in a fight with each other to pick candidates that side with our preferred choices - this was never true in the past because we had the individual freedom to decide for ourselves what life, liberty and happiness we wanted to pursue - but NOW with the government running our lives, we have to fight each other (and their preferences) in order for us to have our own preferences for our own lives...

THIS IS WHY BIG GOVERNMENT IS A KILLER OF TRUE FREEDOM!!!

So, if you want good, Constitutional candidates, they have to be grown from the bottom and you have to fight the parties every inch of the way to STAY OUT OF OUR LIVES where the Constitution does not grant them power...

WE LOST THE BEST CHANCE FOR CONSTITUIONAL CARRY WHEN IT WAS NOT PURSUED UNDER THE CORBETT ADMINISTRATION!!!

Now we have to HOLD OUR NOSES and vote for the least evil - If you don't want to do that again, start now to convince others that our BASIC CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS are the most important issue to be voted upon and find candidates willing to fight against allowing the government growth that usurps them...

Putting the power hungry (and intoxicated) government back into the Constitutional boundaries will take a long concerted effort - likely as many as 10 presidential terms, once the effort is taken up in earnest - what group is looking that far out to sustain a fight for limited government?

No effort toward that goal will be easy - There are too many perks to the existing power structure - Toomey is a perfect example of where we are...

I'm pretty sure we all know this.

As has been stated, the time to be rid of Toomey was during the primary.
Now, with the senate in p!ay, gunowners are indeed in the shitter.

I'm choking back the vomit and voting straight R this time.
I'll reserve my protest vote for the next election.

Toomey is the lesser of 2 evils, and I take delight in sending his office daily emails pointing out the pure dumbassness of pandering to Shira Goodman and her ilk. I'm glad he is finding out how getting stabbed in the back feels.

I predicted this in a radio interview outside his office during a CeaseFire demonstration.

I will say I'm getting extremely tired of seeing mcguntycunt's assault weapon/magazine ban commercial. The way it ends it basically implies that toomey is evil because everyone apparently supports banning semi auto rifles and "high capacity" magazines but he doesn't. Don't tell me what I fucking want or support you ****! Fuck her ignorant dumbass.

A Toomey win will set the stage for all future races. It will make it next to impossible for a true conservative to win the republican nomination.

We need to maintain a senate majority even if some are RINOs. Appointing committee chairs is important. it's the first step in stopping anti-gun legislation.

I would vote for Wakefield in a primary.
