Ruger American
Has anyone shot the Ruger American yet? I did a quick search on here and didn't see any other threads on it. I was looking for a full ambi pistol and it looks like a nice pistol. I'd imagine Ruger will have a tough time with an already flooded poly market....

I got one in 9mm when they first came out around New Year's. Overall I like it and it's in my carry rotation.
I think you are correct in saying that Ruger will have an issue selling them. I think they were very late to the party entering the market. I paid $430 for mine on basically the first day it was available. I've seen them available online for $389. Check slickguns.com. A deal on them seems to show up every week or so.

There are quite a few reviews on Youtube, a lot of them have the same gripes. The one being the weirdly shaped beavertail area that beats the crap out of your hand. Looking at it I have to wonder what Ruger was thinking on that.
