Bucks County Another NonReisdent Experience
I have a CWP in FL as a Florida resident and called the Bucks County Sheriff to find out if they would issue to non-residents. I was told that they would for a Florida resident since FL will issue to PA and there is reciprocity. I was told to come to the Doylestown location. I arrived with a already filled out application I obtained online and a copy of my Florida CWP. I waited 30-60 minutes and was issued the LTCF. Everyone was pleasant and professional. It was crowded as many people were applying.
I used to live in Montco and was an LEO there but it seems that they do not issue to nonresidents on the spot (maybe not at all) and I was not sure if I applied there if they would do so. As such, I highly recommend the highly professional Bucks County Sheriff's Department. It is ashame that the departments do not all issue as they should under the UFA. But at least Bucks does and does promptly and efficiently.
