My dad said when he was stationed in Germany, one of his Sargents (who was always drunk) "accidentally" mixed some live rounds with the blanks in some M14 magazines.

The problem was fixed soon after while he was asleep.

Yep, just two liberal gun experts. The kind who think a Ruger 10/22 is a machine gun, because it's a semi-auto.

Here comes the fail train, there's a lot of fail here. Sadly, I can see their defense, they're going to try to claim that it's the fault of someone else.

Read the article. These people shouldn't have been teaching anyone.
So Coel, Lt Heck and Hecks husband didn't know the difference between blanks and live ammo? Inbreeding does strange things to people. Fire all 3.

No more actual weapons used in demonstrations by LEOs, at least in this department.

By the way. Both those young men learned their lesson, and will both never even look at another firearm, even if they were not prohibited now, as they both killed a childhood friend, as a result of an "honest" mistake. They were both found guilty, and are in prison.
I dont think there is an exception to that rule. I bet he did think it was absolutely unloaded.

10 years probation for first-degree manslaughter.

Doesn't really seem as though justice was served. Asshole DA's that are happy to plead such cases down.

"Live gun demonstration" just sounds like a stupid idea.
