Kimber ultra carry II magazines?

Ignorant to the 1911 I was looking for some input on mags. Picked up a 9mm ultra carry. Cheap pricks at Kimber only give you one mag. Looking for at least one more. Not paying 40ish for a 8 round magazine. I am a big fan of Mecgar for my Sigs and CZs but don't know if they make a good 1911 mag. I can get stainless Mecgars for it for $26 shipped. Seems there are 4 or 5 makers that keep popping up in my searches. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Cheap pricks at Ruger and many other gun companies only give you one mag too it's nothing uncommon or new. As far as Good 1911 mag's at a reasonable price go Mec-Gar, Chip McCormick, and CMI ALL have good stuff and then there is always old school USGI for standard 7 rounders. If you want the best and have cash to burn there is no better then Wilson Combat.
