Governments are great at creating paradoxes. Years ago, in the late 60s, federal instructions told states to eliminate identifying the race of individuals involved in part 1 and part 2 crimes reported in the monthly UCR. The following year the feds asked for the totals of the involved races for the prior year. Then they wanted to sanction for non-compliance. Understand, the top hats that administrate this crap make big bucks.
