I don't know what could have been more of an inconvenience that the G20 Summit here in 2009.

    Game, set, match.

I raise you both the visits from the Activist in Chief in June, 2104 and exactly a year ago tomorrow. Total traffic fustercluck:

"Parkway West inbound is backed to New Castle; outbound Parkway West is backed to New Alexandria, I-79 south is backed to Grove City, and northbound I-79 is backed to the PA/WV line. Parkway East inbound is also backed to New Alexandria, and Parkway East outbound is also backed to New Castle. On I-279 north and southbound, parking rates are in effect; $5 for the first hour, and $2 per hr after that."

    Checkmate.

G20 was worse. Downtown was for all intensive purposes closed for three days. Virtually all businesses where closed. Only a skelleton crew where at our office and they camped out there for the duration. There where national guard HUMVEE blocking access to the city. I had to go to Oakland during the protests and it took me three tries to find a way to even get into the area because of the protests.

This was in addition to most if not all but most of the road closures referenced in the quoted post when the President arrived.

Bruce Kelly Jr. is the best martyr they can come up with? Long criminal record, drunk and disorderly at a busway stop, drinking in public, assaulted a few cops, killed a police dog with a knife, refused to drop the knife after being pepper sprayed and tazed, and was finally shot. Yeah, "gunned down for no reason".

"demanding the decriminalization of the black community"

yea im sick of "the man" making the black community steal, assault, kill, etc as well.

why not hold the rally in one of those communities?
why not attack the gangs and drug dealers?

im probably too privileged to even understand thats why.

He was just turning his life around to support his 16 kids right before that happened.
