Our office is closing early, the building is increasing access security protocols, and an officer is being posted in the lobby. It's staring right when rush hour peaks. Normally we only have unarmed security in the lobby.

The building our office is in is implementing increased security at 4:00, our office is closing at 3:00, and my manager gave us the option of working from home for 1/2 a day. I'm taking it will hopefully be out of the city well before any gathering.

I usually take the T but will walk instead today and brought along my first aid kit I use for hiking and a 3 x D cell maglight.

It might be interesting to see but im not having any part of being there. I'm not that curious.

Nope, they're not racist or all, and they're all about peaceful protest. Sad that the cop doesn't actually make them move since they're intentionally blocking the public walkway.

My office is just north of the Mon. and we were right on the edge of the no traffic zone. National Guard was right outside our front door. Of more interest though was the Coast Guard running up and down the river in their little boats with 50cal machine guns on both ends. We were also in the flight path of the Apache helicopters that occasionally flew by.
