I don't recall the last time I wore a belt - maybe when I had to dress nice for a party.
Otherwise I wear shorts with no provision for adding a belt most of the time so the P3AT is as "stepped up" as it gets.

Not really stepping up on when and where I carry. The only time I stopped carrying was when I was in a lot of pain and taking some heavy pain pills. What has changed is I have stepped my SI a bit. Maybe I have been packing my XD .45 more than one of my 1911s. I will need to analyze that some more.

I would like to move up from just a P3AT in my pocket to also carrying my G23 which I'm about to convert to .357 SIG.

What has held me back is my 50-inch fat-loaded waist and uncertainty as to what would work.

It appears that I need to spend near $100 for a Crossbreed or comparable. I don't mind spending money on quality and good design that works, but I would not be happy winding up throwing it in a drawer because it doesn't. But....I see on their website I can purchase one and have two weeks to try it and return it if it doesn't work for me. That kind of eliminates the uncertainty problem. May look into that.
