    Default Coca Cola Park Allentown

Anyone know if there is a policy against fire arms at Coca Cola Park. I searched the website but didn't see anything, but could've just not found it. Metal detectors to enter? Thanks

I knew it had to be there. Not sure about metal detectors.

Apparently you cannot conceal carry a handgun or a ham sandwich into the park these days. Not sure if they wand or have metal detectors though.

Can I bring my own food or drinks in to Coca-Cola Park?
For the safety of our fans and per facility policy, food, beverages, weapons of any kind, (even with a concealed weapons permit) containers such as coolers or thermoses, lawn chairs, helium balloons, banners or signs that are not in the spirit of the event or that obstruct the view of others, animals other than service animals or Dog Day visitors, compressed air horns are all prohibited at Coca-Cola Park.

I'll be at the Craft Beer Fest next weekend - any news or changes on security checks and CCW there?

Walked right in a few months ago with not a single metal detector to be found. Only about half a dozen people at the gate and they were only checking coolers for what I assume was glass containers.

    Update SEP21 - 2019:
Went to a Craft Beer Festival at the CC Park today - Security evaluation:

ME: Kahr PM9 in a pocket holster - cargo shorts right side upper pocket; spare magazines in my left cargo pocket.

Multiple gate attendants checking for tickets, applying wrist bands and checking ID (over-21 drinking age requirements)
Each gate had an attendant with a hand scanner/wand - either holding it or in a pocket.

I did not witness anyone scanned in the few moments it took to enter the park.
Immediately inside, numerous PSP & Allentown officers eyeballing everyone walking in - again no issues.

I did see 2 individuals printing---right side carry with an over-shirt.

All in all a nice, safe time!
