Default Gun smith won't do trigger job on Marlin 25n

I wanted to get the trigger pull adjusted on my Marlin 25n but the gun smith I just talked to said he won't do it. Is there a safety issue involved?

Go to Rimfirecentral.com for all your rimfire needs. Someone there will help you, but use the search feature first.

I have this on my 780. It helps dramatically. However, I can't currently remove the bolt with it installed. I'm going to play with it at some point, but it's not high on my list right now.

Talk to John BlAuvelt. If he can do it he will and if he can't he will tell you why

I am mostly curious as to why he would be reluctant to do a trigger job. Perhaps there is some liability issue.

Well then why are you asking the internet for answers instead of asking him?

My gunsmith ( rightfully ) declined to work on my little Jimenez arms 22.

His time was worth more and cost more that that little POS would be worth.

He also declined to work on my S&W 40 VE because the trigger job is a pita and the gun itself is so inexpensive.

He's a smart guy and one of my best friends, so I put a lot of weight on his words.

    Maybe something similar?

I'm gonna make a guess.... nothing to work with. Parts have a thin area of hardening, and alteration destroys it, work not only won't last, result is over time it will become dangerous.

That's what I read online. I have an old marlin 3030 with a screwy trigger.
