    Default Heading to Virginia...

Leaving early in the A.M. for Front Royal VA. Open carrying all the way , except for MD of course!

Hopefully I'll have no stories to tell upon my return.

Front Royal's a good area. Have fun!

ETA: Since you're open carrying, you shouldn't have a problem with the restaurant/CC ban. Open Carry only in ABC licensed establishment.

word of caution......careful where all you go, if you get to far out of front royal, you could end up on skyline drive areas....i.e..Shenandoah National Park..otherwise, have a fun safe trip....

This past June I OC'd on my trip to Richmond (except for the workers paradise of MD) and all along my route to Richmond once in VA. I OC'd in Richmond to the consternation of several liberal associates of mine from PA, but who cares what they think? I had no problems with store owners, restaurants, hotels, etc. Even the people from NJ who hung out with me were easier going than my fellow Pennsylvanians!

Good luck, have a safe trip, and let us know how it goes when you get the chance!

This past June I drove to Bristol Va/TN. I did a combination of OC and CC for the entire week and did not have a single problem or incident. I only received one comment while out to dinner "are you a police officer?" I explained to them that I was not and they just said "oh, ok. other then that, not another comment the whole trip.
