I mailed my applications Friday at 2pm in a box located at the post office that is picked up at 4pm. The mail then needs to go to Pittsburgh because it is no longer sorted in Erie (no wonder the postal service is broke) and then back to the county where I sent to. My daughter and I were awarded tags yesterday before 5pm. I guess I timed that correctly. My wife thinks I am nuts, but my system works. Just an FYI. I went online to purchase our licenses this year. It was pretty simple and I didn't need to explain to the kid at Walmart what a DMAP tag was or stand in line. They were mailed to me in plenty of time to apply for a doe tag. I don't think I will ever buy from a store again. I could get all of the extra privileges that I wanted and get into the Elk drawing etc...It was really pretty easy.

I put mine in the box on Sunday. Last year 5C and 5D sold out, which is a shock as they usually have leftovers. I procrastinated, and when I went to go and buy one OTC they were sold out. Now everything is going in the mail at the earliest possible time.

The system says I was awarded one for 2E at 11:13 on Tues. the 12th. Will have to watch and see how many are left for the next round.

Mailed mine on July 8th, was told on the 12th that I was awarded one.. sent it to Carbon county this time for 4 C as it takes FOREVER to get any response at all from Luzerne county.... Last year it was over 2 weeks before I was awarded for the first round from them... Carbon county from now on....

Mailed my app to Luzerne County for the 11th, got mine back today. Never have an issue with Luzerne County.

I used to drop mine off in the mailbox right outside the courthouse in Jim Thorpe when it used to be by county. I did that a few years ago and it took several weeks to get mine back. I started sending in to bucks county for 4c and have been getting it back within a week. But I think they need to move faster now since they moved the timelines up substantially.

Sent in for 3D, group of 3, to Luzerne Cty., awarded Thursday, 7-14, 11 AM. Last year wasn't awarded til Thursday of the 2nd week. Wasn't going to go there this year, but heard they were putting more people in to process apps.
Last year sent in for 2nd round for 3D, plus 2nd, and 3rd choices to Columbia Cty. PO right around the corner, Sunday morning. Came back Quota Filled.
