    Default Punxsutawney Groundhog Festival 2016

It's going on this week, all week long in Barclay Square, right in the heart of downtown Punxsutawney. Food, kiddie rides, and all sorts of vendors.

Wifey-poo and I picked up a bottle of cherry wine at a discounted price from Groundhog Winery, the newest winery to the area. No, the stuff is not made from fermented groundhogs.

Of course, I OCed the entire time there. Did anyone notice? Did anyone care? I have no idea. No old ladies fainted and no kids went screaming for their mommy.

I know I enjoy a nice Pinot Grigio with my Groundhog Fricassee.

Unfortunately, the Groundhog Winery is now temporarily closed. Someone ran off the road and into their building.

I thought the Groundhog Winery was where you go to complain about Phil's weather prognostications.

I went by yesterday to make a delivery up 310 past Anita and noticed the skid marks but the building is now repaired.

Now, was that you at the Northern Cambria Family Dollar yesterday sporting the hogleg in the Josey Wales holster by chance?

Building repair is easy, it's getting the inside up and running that's a bit harder.

Not me. I sport a Hi-Point C9 in a Fobus holster, wearing a Vietnam Vet baseball cap.

P.S. Yes, I like the Hi-Point. It works.
