Damn it! I was trying to get away from buying 1911's.

I wonder how it compares to the EMP in both price and performance.

The 1911 purist in me has been resisting the urge to grab a 9mm 1911. I might not be able to resist much longer. I love my SR1911's.

I have the full size and the lightweight CMD. Both have been outstanding pistols. I can't imagine this new one being any different.

Hummm, I was trying to hold out for a Ruger SR1911 in 9mm when I ended up with this SR1911 .45 beauty a couple years ago. In fact it's the last gun I bought, I may have to pull out the gun jar again ...

Hmm. I might be looking for a new 1911 soon. I've already acquired one in 45 ACP.

I had a few 1911's in .45, but I finally cracked and bought a very nice 9mm S&W Pro series from Les at SPG. It shoots great, but it feels sacrilegious when I break it out at the range. That said, I would be in line for anything Ruger makes if it interested me!

They really kill me with the lack of ambidextrous safety. (I'm a southpaw, not a tactical need to shoot with my left if my right becomes disabled guy).
