Legal or not
I have read where to and to carry private property. But am still unsure. My job requires me to drive onto people's property. If my ccw is in my vehicle am I allowed. Do I still have an expectation of privacy in my vehicle.
Thanks

Re: Legal or not
This grammar is not legal.
Do you have an LTCF?
On private property, the owner or lessee of the property sets the rules ( to a carrying degree). They can dictate whether you can carry, smoke, drink coffee or walk on the grass. It is their property. They can tell you to leave, once they do that you are in defiant trespass.
Not sure what you mean by expectation of privacy. Signs that read "vehicles are subject to search" at a gate are fine. If you do not agree to those terms, you can park outside the gates.

Re: Legal or not
I'm not sure what you do or that it matters. I'm a contractor. Gun is in a lockbox in the truck or on me. Who would know?

Re: Legal or not
ok, lets try this again.
iam a contractor, i sometimes pull into a clients driveway, putting me on private property. is it legal to have a weapon in my truck at that time.
i dont believe, its the same as walking around with it, on there property. i know what everyone is saying, if they (meaning the home owner) doesnt know, whats the big deal. i agree.
i believe, besides my grammar, this might make more sense. can the home owner still say get off my property if the gun is in my truck. i was curious and just a question.

Re: Legal or not
They can tell you to get off their property no matter what is in your truck. If it is locked in your glove box or console, they would never know unless you told them and you only break the law if you don't leave the property when asked.
Ianal. That is just what I have gathered from this forum, I'm sure I'll be corrected if wrong.Go sell crazy some where else, we're all stocked up here.

Re: Legal or not
In PA there's no law stating to inform a property owner that you are legally carrying.
