My new PX4 compact
IMG_20160612_1336418_rewind.jpg
Just wondering how many of you have a PX4, and what you think of it..
I have a few other Beretta, 92fs, 96.. And love them..
This has been on my radar for a while and satiates my need for a hammer fired, steel and polymer handgun all at the same time..
Not to mention the fact that Beretta is offering two free mags and mag pouch!!
Thoughts??

My SC has been great over thousands of rounds and even thrust a few idpa shoots. I want to get a Compact one day. I have been waiting for the Ernie Langdon version to come out but has been taking longer then I thought. You can polish the internals to get a slick trigger very much like a 92

Re: My new PX4 compact
I have a full size PX4, and I love it. I use it for USPSA Production class.
I changed mine from a "C" to a "G", so when you press the decocker it decocks the gun and returns to its original position, without being a safety. I also put an adjustable rear sight on it. After thousands of rounds, I've not had a bit of trouble with it.Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!

I have a PX4 and a Stoeger, both .40 FS. I like them. No issues with either.

Re: My new PX4 compact
Ok, I was lucky enough to get home early from work today..
Took the PX4 out for the first time..
I ran one box, 50 rounds thru it..
Good experience, no problems..
I thought the trigger had more take up than my 92, but ehhh not a big deal..
The recoil was very light, because of the rotating barrel??
I was much more accurate with the px4 than the xds I traded it for..

Re: My new PX4 compact
Nice looking Gun, but we did not like ours. For whatever the reason, we felt ours was very sensitive to limp wrist.
Almost every other round would jam on my wife if she isn't holding on to it as hard as she can, and it even cought me off guard few times.
I can make ours to stove pipe at will depending on how I was holding it.
Was very accurate when it did ran, however.
I could have lived with it, just not to relax my hold too much, but sine I bought it for my wife, and she could not shoot the magazine without jamming it, we traded it towards 9mm 1911, and she has never looked back since.
Now, my LGS has them in full size for sale, and I'm thinking about give it another go...Audemus jura nostra defendere

Re: My new PX4 compact
I believe that the rotating barrel reduces the recoil a lot.
Dave Olhasso can make the trigger better. I haven't messed with my trigger, as it is fine for me the way its, but it could use some work to make the DA mode better.
When I shot my first USPSA matches with it, its accuracy got a lot of attention from the other guys.Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!
