I bought a new die set 2 days after it happened so I'm not too worried about the damaged one. The new set is used from the local gunship and not as nice though :/ also it has a different style decapping pin setup then the original so now I have to search for the pins with the bulge on top. Until then I have been using my universal decapper.

RCBS will remove stuck cases from their dies and re-polish them for a reasonable fee.

Same with Hornady. I don't think there is a fee for the removal but they do have you send a check to cover return shipping. I think the shipping fee is $5 or $7.

For anyone who does not know the web of the case is the part with the flash hole separating the primer from the powder charge. Unfortunately my web is not intact, and everyone should take into consideration before trying to draw out the brass themselves that the die techs may be unable to help you afterwards

    Just to reiterate.

If you have access to any cryogenic cooling materials (Liquid Nitrogen)try immersing the die with the case in it fir a few seconds and then try driving out the brass with a rod thru the decapping pin hole. Use appropriate skin and face protection when handling liquid Nitrogen as it is very cold and WILL FREEZE BURN SKIN ON CONTACT! If you have access to any one with this capability and material it might be worth a shot. You might also try placing the die with the jammed case in your deep freeze for a few days and try driving out. Brass and steel expand and contract at different rates based on temperature and the excess deep freeze cooling just might do it.

The biggest "problem" with using One-Shot is the user's forget or don't know that the can must be shaken before it's used. The "stuff" inside will separate and if it's not shaken....then the "stuff" being sprayed is not the right "stuff". I've been using the One-Shot for about 7 years now and I actually lay my brass on a pad, shake the can every time I pick it up, spray the brass, give 'em a few rolls and then size 'em. Works very well. Even when I size 38-55's to 32-40's I have no problems.

Why not just purchase a broken case extractor from Graff and Sons and be done with the whole thing. I stuck many 7mm Mag cases in my RCBS dies and got them out no problem.
