VFMAC graduation: Off property, public parking, with in walking distance ?

OP here,

Attended the graduation today.

I parked and locked in the Fenimore Woods community park.
It was the perfect location.
I think it might have been even closer to where the graduation ceremony was held than the location recommended by the school.
The school told everyone to park by the football field. And the ceremony was held at the parade field.
Plus I think the football field parking lot filled up.

I did my usual open carry after walking back to my truck parked at Fenimore Woods.
And drove to where we had lunch at Glenmorgan Bar & Grill at the Radnor Hotel.

Other than getting sunburn during the ceremony; no issues any where.
