Re: Need to replace EOTECH
I think it was more of a general question, just poorly worded. Something like "if they are all pieces of shit, why is Eotech still selling these optics to the public? Did they fix the problem with them, or are they selling broken optics?"
Which basically yeah. They are. They are selling optics at aimpoints price but with Bushnell quality.

Re: Need to replace EOTECH
This is actually laughable. There are plenty of videos out there showing 1-X's are just as fast as Eotechs. Your "4x" faster is neither substantiated with times nor valid as you didn't tell us anything about the system of use. Example: an EoTech on a 14.5" carbine is going to be faster than a Mk8 on a Barrett .50, which we all know you have since you tried to sell like 8 of them in the discussion section.
Blind claims like this for systems that have recalls get new shooters spending lots of money on product that simply isn't up to par.
Also, congrats on the Elcan purchase. They're fantastic.Last edited by ianb1116; January 7th, 2017 at 12:28 AM.

Re: Need to replace EOTECH
They aren't pieces of shit, they just didn't meet the standard that they were advertised to meet. They are like any other optic, they have weaknesses and strengths.
I turned mine in because it had weaknesses i wasn't made aware of when i bought it.

Re: Need to replace EOTECH
For simplicity sake and price, consider an Aimpoint.
