Re: Delaware County Field and Stream Association?
its a nice place but the rules are too strict for me to join. i just go as a guest once in a while with my cousin. i don't like the round limitations they have. in the the table trap area, how are you supposed to practice pumping the next round for hunting if you only allowed 1 round? i can't enjoy my ar there, 1 round at a time? no thanks. 5 rounds in handguns? not enough for my tastes. i have joined a private club out in Berks county. its not as nice or as complex as Delco F&S but i can load up as much as i want without worry.

Re: Delaware County Field and Stream Association?
So back in the late 70's I was there with my cop brother in law. I am shooting a Ruger Blackhawk in 44 mag. The range master didn't like that one bit. So I load it for my brother in law. 4 nicely normal rounds I loaded up and one that I mixed a little black powder in with the dupont..(Just a touch)
So my brother goes off shooting, 1, 2, 3, 4 and BOOM He was immediatley asked to leave. I just wish you could have seen the 4 foot flame... It was beautiful!!
Now I was young and stupid, I admit that. But, with no one getting hurt, I smile everytime I think of that day!
But, of course, I would never do that again!!

Re: Delaware County Field and Stream Association?
I believe the old and antiquated rules are being looked at so the club may draw more new members in and re-claim some ex-members. Hopefully sometime soon all of the other issues come to the table also.

If they would lighten up a little, I'd join in a heartbeat.
