Sequential number glocks??
Do people really look for those? I am not posting this as a "for sale", but I just got 2 of them in by chance and I wonder if I should bother mentioning them on some facebook groups etc.
To me I don't really see the appeal and I'm not going to try to get extra money for them, just curious.

Re: Sequential number glocks??
Yes some do care.
Would I care? No. Would I pay more? No.

Re: Sequential number glocks??
I have a couple sets of firearms with consecutive numbers set back for my kids but I didn't pay extra for them.

Re: Sequential number glocks??
Typically it is the serious collectors of specific firearms that place a premium on consecutive serial numbers and they will pay a premium for them depending on what they are and how scarce they are. Even with modern guns, it is fairly rare, even for a dealer, to get consecutive numbers due to the way they are handled throughout the distribution system and even at the manufacturer.
I happen to have two sets, one a set of new, never fired Ruger SR22's (I won at a gun raffle and they were meant to be a consecutive set) and the other a set of Ruger Police Service Sixes that I refurbished. The PSS's were actually bought about 18 months apart and I didn't notice it until I was doing my inventory and cataloging of my Ruger collection.
The SR22's:

A few (about 10 now) years ago I purchased two Glock 19s with sequential serial numbers, they both started with GEM.
My wife has two Glock 26s with sequential serial numbers, both start with KPD; which were the initials for the agency that I used to work for.Tomorrow's battle is won during today's practice.

Re: Sequential number glocks??
Not sequential numbers, but I couldn't resist buying two Glock 19 pistols with s/n BARF 011 and BARF 111. Two different dealers a couple months apart. His 'n hers.

Re: Sequential number glocks??
Based on the responses (even from the first two that didn't read the whole post) I won't bother letting people know I have them. I will just put one on display and sell it and then sell the other.

Re: Sequential number glocks??
I did read the whole post.
It reads like you were wondering if you should brag about your "find".
I didn't comment on that part of your post, I commented on the "I'm not going to try to get extra money for them" part of your post where it sounds like you are considering selling them if the opinions leaned towards they would be worth something "extra" as a pair.
Sorry to have cluttered your post with an answer.
In short, nobody except for a select few will care about your numbers being consecutive.
I figured posting that outright would sound rude, but considering...
