Default Has anyone seen this gun in their local shop? Springfield four-inch G I champion

I am hoping if I can find this pistol it will fill two voids in my collection. I want to add a G.I. style 1911 and a commander size. This gets mixed reviews but I'm willing to take a chance and try to satisfy this bug. They were discontinued some years ago so it's going to be a matter of stumbling upon one. Has anyone seen them at your favorite shop? I have the weekend off and I'm willing to drive. Thanks, Brian

I'll let you know if I see one.

I hope you don't break it right away.

You could always try this one also, if you can't find the Springer.

Well, that sucks. I swear it was in stock when I posted the link. Maybe, I'm slipping.

I'll look around a little, maybe I can find another.

Last time I saw one was at Trop Gun & that was at their old original location. Have you tired looking at their new location?

Not the Commander size but it is the G.I.

They very well could have them in stock in store...

There, at least I found the one I mentioned in stock. Don't see the Springfield anywhere yet.

It's been almost a year since I've been there but Sarco in Easton is a dealer of RIA and they had pretty much everything. I know that's a bit of a trip for you, but it's the best I can do. Maybe they will ship if you don't want to drive out. Don't break anything while you're there.
