Conewago Township election open carry article
http://www.ydr.com/story/news/politi...arry/83580180/
I will out myself as the election official who had no comment. They generally don't want us to be quoted. FWIW, the reporter happened to catch one of the workers, and started asking questions. I interrupted, and told him to go back outside of the building, in part because I figured any article about firearms at polling places would probably have an anti-gun slant. I'm assuming the voter is a member here, so if you are the voter, introduce yourself in November.

Re: Conewago Township election open carry article
Guilty.
Were you the gent sitting in the chair against the wall at the end of the sign in table? I got a good once over from him!
I had no intentions of anything but voting that day, but I've known a few YDR reporters in the past who were good people, and Mark was very professional when speaking with him. Even though he wasn't looking for a 'gun article', he asked good questions indicating he had done a little research, and he was honest in response to questions asked of him. Most of the conversation between Mr. Weber, Mark and I didn't make the article, but it was 2A positive.
The net result? The reporter has an open invitation to join me at my range and we'll try to catch up when the weather breaks!Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God.

"A Conewago Township elections official at the municipal building said she hadn't noticed O'Brien's gun when he came in to vote. She would not comment further on the matter."
I'm guessing no.
That story presents you very favorably, J. Congrats and thanks for representing law-abiding gun carriers so positively.

Re: Conewago Township election open carry article
No worries. I was probably at the other end of the table, and as such, never saw your side with the gun. I'm happy to know that it was a positive experience, and that there is an invitation for range time for the reporter. I guess I probably gave him more of a hard time than I should've.

Nah, hes a reporter, He's probably looking for a job now for putting a positive spin on owning and carrying a gun. His leftwing handlers don't like that angle in their "news", Good thing is though, hes probably got plenty of time for that range trip........
