    Exactly. The LCTF application rules state that veterans need to submit a copy of their DD-214. I scratched my head at this too as surely they have other ways of confirming your identity. Hell, a drivers license should be all that is needed along with the filled out application. It seems they request your DD-214 simply because they can...

    Legally they can't. It's BS and the moron voters in Monroe just reelected this jerk last year. I hope they loose the case and have to pay out because of this jerk. Yes I live here too, I voted for Treavor.

    I can see that Monroe County is similar to Jersey for getting a permit, does anyone on here know if Pike or Southhampton would be better as I would be willing to leave Monroe to get my permit

    You can only get your LTCF in the county in which you reside.

    I did mean to move, renting now in Monroe, but in the process of looking to buy a house in Marshalls Creek area, but I can redirect my search as long as I can still commute to NJ
