Looking for advice of shooting gloves
I bought a pair of mechanix wear m-pact a few years back, I managed to completely destroy them in about a week ( climbing trees, parkour, sword sparing, archery and shooting pistols for hours every day). But that's the extent of my glove experience.
I'm wondering if any one here might have a suggestion on some decent shooting /tactical/ pretend I'm a ninja at the mall gloves.
To be fair the I can't really expect any gloves to withstand the level of abuse I put them thorough forever so maybe looking for a good price to durability
I really like knuckle padding but that's about I really look for in gloves
Been looking at the Oakley assult/pilot gloves And 5.11.
Thanks in advance

Random thoughts that come to mind...
Do they really make gloves for "shooting"?
Why do you need gloves for shooting?
Are you a girl?

Re: Looking for advice of shooting gloves
Maybe look into motocross or riding gloves?
I have a pair of ICON Pursuit riding gloves that are at least 7 years old and they've held up to miles and miles of riding.
Pricey though at about $75 but ICON does make mechanics types for about $25 that might be worth a try.
But I think leather is going to be your best bet.

I don't use gloves often but when I do I use Mechanix, advanced auto sells them for like 20.00 and they work great.

PAST made good shooting gloves, I needed a right hand one for shooting my 375JDJ Contender. Took some of the sting out of it.

Re: Looking for advice of shooting gloves
Just for fun, I picked up a pair of Mechanic type gloves at Harbor freight, Hardy, they are called. And I'll be darned, those buggers really impressed me; firewood, wrenching, carpentry...pretty much everything I do. I figured I'd get about a week out of them (hey, they were $4)...three months later, I'm still on the same pair. I did buy 4 more pair last time I was there.
Just my $0.02
