Re: Leaving Unloaded Firearm Locked in trunk while drop off child at public school
Regardless of some vague law that I'm sure people are cited for daily, my point is that a security guard was wandering around opening up cars for what reason?
What if the owner had a dog in there and it attacked the guard?
IMO, the security guard was just being nosy and unless he has powers of arrest and to cite drivers the law about idling cars is moot.

Re: Leaving Unloaded Firearm Locked in trunk while drop off child at public school
I am glad to see that this forum is still alive. My kid does ride the bus. Just like the parent in the Patton Middle School in Chester County, there are "emergencies" where I have to drop off/ pick up my child and most of the time I am carrying. So the dilemma is what to do when this happens and not break the law.
