Ya lol. Marines are probably the most vulgar. It's like second nature. Those parents that think the military will treat their children nicely and won't curse or hurt them...ya lol they have no idea.

oh man... been watching a lot of the recruit training vids... lmao. weird though. when i was in, DI's didn't swear. and they took out their frustration in the form of I.P.T.

in Boot I was a Squad leader from week 2 to about week 6, and then Company Guide from 6 to 12. I "paid" a lot for mistakes made by my squad/platoon/series.

but you have to remember, your 13 weeks in Recruit Training are only the tip of the iceberg. those of us that went on to S.O.I. and further know that the work got FAR harder, even if the screaming lessened.

you don't forge weapons if steel with kisses and feathers. you crush it between the hammer and the anvil. Boot Camp doesn't make men out of boys. It makes Marines out of men.
