Two encounters

I must be doing something different or I am getting more approachable. I had two people notice and say something about my OC on Saturday while I was out. I think that almost doubles the number that have said anything to me in 4 or 5 years. The first was a positive I suppose as the guy said he expressed interest in OC but hadn't done it before. I should have referred him to here but I didn't. I just told him him why I do it. I didn't want to try to convince him to OC if he wasn't ready.

The other guy just asked if I was carrying a S&W, which I wasn't. He said used to carry when he carried lots of cash but either stopped when he stopped carrying the money or just wasn't carrying that day. I asked if he carried a Shield but he said that he carried for protection. I think there was a little miscommunication on that one.

If this keeps up I'll have to get better at reading people to find out if they are just saying something as they are passing or want to have a conversation about it. I stopped carrying flyers a while ago as I never had the chance to give any out and the one I had was pretty shabby.

He actually was dressed like captain America if captain America were doing landscaping for his church.
