Default Cajun Gun Works Pro Package

So I installed a Pro Package into the SP-01 this weekend. Trigger felt amazing and reset was minuscule. However, when I got to the range today, I had quite a few light strikes. They all went bang eventually but I couldn't get through a magazine without at least one or two. Anyone know if this kit needs some sort of break in period or is something wrong?

For reference, I was using the blue hammer spring, the red recoil spring, and reloads (with S&B primers), which I know can be hard sometimes.

I just purchased a p-09 so I'll follow this thread since I'm intrigued by some of their products.

I can't speak with 100% certainty, but usually light primer strikers in revolvers and other hammer guns are due to lighter hammer springs. Put a heavier hammer spring in and take it back to the range.

Call David Milam at CGW. He is the owner, but very willing to speak to people and give advice. My guess is you need a heavier hammer (main) spring.

You may need the extended firing pin from Dave. I use the 13 lb blue spring all the time .light strikes are not usually an issue with the blue 13 lb spring. If you were running the 11 lb black spring that is always a likely with certain hard primers. Talk to Dave ,pick his brain on it.

I believe I have the extended pin as it comes standard with the Pro Package. I'll give David a call sometime this week.

I am using the 13 lb. blue hammer spring.

Change the hammer spring or change the primers you use. As a competitive revolver shooter, I can't use anything but Federal primers.
