Going to be new to CC'ing.
Alright, so next month I am going for my LTCF, the day of my 21st. I'll be going for my Glock 26 in February/March. My question is, since I would have a LTCF can I keep it on me in the car? Does it have to be OC in the car? Some people have told me even with the LTC I cannot have it on me at all, then others say yes, but I cannot CC it while in the car. So I am in between.
Another question, I know the law says I cannot have it near/in schools. I go to Clinton county to visit friends there, they goto Lock Haven so we tend to go through a few main roads that go directly between parts of the University is this legal?
and last question. can anyone recommend a holster that is good for the glock 26 that can be concealed easily?

Welcome to the forum.
Check out this thread. There is a pamphlet there that will help answer a lot of your questions.

With the ltcf you can carry openly or concealed in your car.
Desantis makes a nice holster. You can check out their web site.troll Free. It's all in your mind.

Re: Going to be new to CC'ing.
Congratulations! G-26 is a good cc gun. I can't shoot them for sh*t without the extended mags though.
I'm fairly sure universities are OK to carry on, though it will violate school policy I don't think it's illegal. Public schools are a no-no and are a hot debate topic. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.
I jusg got a simple Don Hume holster for a similar sized gun and I like it alot. It's a belt holster, not inside the waistband. It conceals well, but tight shirts can give it away. I'd go with an inside the waistband holster at first, but you'll find belt, or paddle holsters can be a little more comfortable.
Good luck, welcome to the forum, thanks for excersizing your rights with us, and be safe.

Thanks guys for the responses!
If their policy states students. Has nothing else really then what?
I was looking at this holster
http://www.blackhawk.com/product1.asp?P=4135&C=C2092
Says it comes in paddle mount only, thats where it just goes on the belt between the belt and hip right? Not where the belt goes through the holster. Sorry for the stupid question hahaLast edited by The Unknown 1087; September 10th, 2008 at 04:23 PM.

Schools are a touchy subject, If it's CC, you probably won't get in trouble.
OC, That could cost alot of $ to get cleared.
