I realize it may seem I often take it that way. That is not my intention though. I simply try to explain things from a different perspective and experience. And speaking of handling something in a better way, below is a huge fail on the cops part.

I'm wondering if the failure on the cop's part to properly search someone that he took into custody is why his license was revoked. Just to cover his own ass.

I doubt it, but I also would have bet the OP's incident started in Philadelphia.

I have to agree with the other guys on here that attacking the OP is unhelpful and honestly obnoxious. I'm seeing it more and more on this forum and I really don't like it at all. People come here for advice, not to be scolded. Last I checked this was a pro 2A site, not an anti-drinking site. It's not like he was waving the pistol around drunk or something. If what he says is in fact true (which is all we have to go on, so we should in fact give him the benefit of the doubt) it sounds like he got a raw deal.

Agreed 100% I wonder how many of those who attacked the OP drink themselves? How many have 3 drinks and get behind the wheel, thus they are risking losing their license and likely their job. Anyone that says they never did something stupid when drunk is a liar. Yet plenty cast blame at OP, even balming him for the friends he chose, and instead completely forget about his 2A Rights.

No judgement, I wasn't there and in many cases even those who were don't know exactly what went down. Let your lawyer do his thing and do what he suggests on your end.
