Default Finally getting a cz but which caliber?

So I've been trying to avoid the CZs because I can't afford any more guns but a local shop is having a sale on the P-09 in .40 for $389. I jumped to put one on hold but now I'm thinking I should I should put out the extra $111 to buy it in 9mm.

I own 2 glocks in 9mm so I have extra ammo and I love the fact that it's around $0.22 per round. The .40 is a little more expensive per round but the pistol is cheaper.

    what do you guys think?

A good price on a pistol you do not have ammo will end up costing you the same after buying ammo.

If that were the normal price of .40 I wouldn't even consider 9mm.

    I voted 9mm but consider a CZ97 also.

But the $111 difference would buy you 500 rounds of ammo.

Lots of cheap 40 out there regularly.
11-13 box usually on SGammo for a few brands.

    Not much point in having 3 x 9mm . . . wait . . . I have an S&W M&P9, a CZ75B in 9mm, and just put a CZ P01 Omega on order.

    Either 9mm or 40 works

I'd stick with it, seems like a good deal although I'm not up on CZ pricing. Plus variety is the spice of life right? Lately .40 and 9mm pricing has started to get close again so that's a plus.

.40 in case you want to do matches with it.
