    Well, that's one way of looking at it. Sometimes it might make sense but once you let them in, everything they see is fair game.

    There used to be an ATF guy who was famous for making semi-auto guns go full auto. So he'd fiddle with your 10/22, get it to double, and then you'd be arrested. Everyone knew that he did this but the rationale in the courts was that since this guy could do it, so could the gun owner and that was good enough.

    If they visit be polite . They just want to make sure your not straw purchaser .
    Could be worse they could put you in research several times for no reason .
