Default Re: Silver Bear Ammo, Any Good?

I've used it in my P-64. After fifty rounds no failures to feed, no failures to fire, extracting clean with both the factory stock recoil spring and a Wolf 22 pound recoil spring. Very clean burning.

Groups at 25 yards with two hand hold were about five inches across. I'm still learning the trigger.

Silver Bear is a handsome looking round, it uses a more modest form of nickle plating, I think either zinc or tin plating. I'd be proud to have made it myself.

Definitely I will to buy more, more so at $100 per 1,000.

Really? Yeah, I just noticed that now.

Oh well. Maybe someone will find what I posted useful. Or not.

Never used it, but always wondered if the plating flakes off and gets to the internals??

Just my experience, the stuff is really dirty, but shoots great.

Bought 1000 rounds from Militaryshooters a while ago and never had a failure.
