    Default Super Hard Primer

Well, seems I found a round of Blazer Brass that has 20 strike invulnerability! So, since it wont ignite, how would you dispose of it? Never actually had this issue to be honest with you.

I take it all the other ammo in the lot went bang?

I would save it, break it down and see what went wrong. I have had duds with factory ammo, bad primer, no primer hole (primer will usually blow out though).

If you don't have a bullet puller, save it to give to a reloader. I have re-used lots of "dud" ammo components...projectiles and brass myself.

Yup, all went bang but all had hard primers or my pistol is finicky with it because I shot an entire box of Federal no issues.

I'll break down, good point, sometimes I really scare myself ha ha!

Do you have a bench vise in your workshop? Put just the bullet (NOT the cartridge!) 1/2 way in and crank the vise till the bullet mashes down. Then twist / bend / twist the case by hand while gently pulling. Most pistol rounds will come out after a gentle twist and bend. Thick neck rifle rounds might need a few bends. Have a trash can under it to catch the powder. You can usually reuse the brass after resizing, the bullet is toast.

I have a kinetic primer too. Luckily haven't had to use it much, just a few times when I was pushing a max load and decided it wasn't worth it.. They are great if you have a dozen or more rounds and want to save the bullets and the components.

If its just an occasional bad round from the range (usually not my fault) just clamp it in a vise, twist and pull, and dump everything in the trash.......unless the brass is expensive.
