Revolver servicing
I inherited my grandfathers Ruger Security Six about 25 years ago, Ive put maybe 300 rounds thru it since then. I've had no issues at all, but was wondering if I should have a smith go over it or if I'm being overly anal and paranoid that it may be slightly out of time or something else (I'm not a big wheel gun guy). None of my other family can ever recall the gun ever being gone over dating back to when my grandfather carried it as a LEO in the early-late 70s.
You may find me dead in a ditch one day. But by God, I'll be lying in a pile of brass.
