Problem with my Crimson Trace Laser on my M&P 45
I purchased this laser approximately 5 years ago, and I had no trouble with it until a couple days ago. A couple days ago, I aimed at the target, and it looked like the laser was right on the money. After the 1st shot, I noticed the laser was shooting several inches low. I readjusted the laser until it appeared to be sighted correctly and I took another shot. After each shot, the laser sight became un sighted. I have no idea what to do. For as much as I paid for this sight, I expected it would work for many many years.
Any idea what happened? Is the 45 Auto too much power for this sight? How is Crimson Trace Customer Service?
Any assistance or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks, Isaac

Re: Problem with my Crimson Trace Laser on my M&P 45
I've have a CT grip on a Sig p220 and have been carrying it like that for about 6 years. I shoot it often and never had any trouble. When I take the grips off for cleaning or especially after a battery change some adjustment will be necessary. Once adjusted it stays put. Send CT an email and explain your problem. It won't cost anything and they may solve your problem for you.

I know this sounds obvious, but are all the mounting screws tight?

Re: Problem with my Crimson Trace Laser on my M&P 45
Well... I have a solution to the problem. It's not what I wanted to hear, but at least I have an answer. I contacted Crimson Trace's customer service and spoke with a representative. Unfortunately, the warranty has expired, so they will not fix or replace the product free of charge. The solution they offered was a 40% off discount on a new product. I will get a 3 year full warranty with the new product. I am a little upset about it, because its still going to cost me $216.60. I will send them my old laser and they will send me a new one. The lady I spoke to was very kind and helpful, but unfortunately she couldn't do it for free. Hopefully the new one will last much longer than the last one.
Thanks for your suggestions.
