Replacement Home Windows - Berks
OK local folks, my house is 20 years old and I want to have a few windows replaced. I was going to check out DeLuxe Window and Door in West Lawn. They have been around forever. Family owned and operated etc. Any of you locals deal with them in the past? Any reason not to contract them?

Yeah, I'd like to know. See them all the time but no experience.

Re: Replacement Home Windows - Berks
If you are talking about double hung windows do it yourself. I watched a few you tube videos and saw how easy it was. I wanted to replace 8 windows so I bought 1 at Home Depot to try my luck, old window out in less than 15 min. new one goes right in caulk and replace trim. It is really easy. Windows cost between $100-150, then the installers tack on $350 for install. I had a few quotes around $500 each. I might have a big bay window done but not a double hung. Also all work is from inside the house no ladders.
