Jack's a good guy. I'm surprised Ace won't transfer ARs since they sell them. Anywhoo, they are pricey on transfers

I thought someone mentioned my name
Yeah, I'm using Jack at GunRunners for my AR lowers and anything else I end up buying that needs transferred.
And for those of you being surprised that Ace won't receive a lower for you, the reason is because they sell AR's in the store. Not only will they not receive a lower for you (or any parts that need to go through an FFL), they also won't receive any new firearm that they sell in the store. In other words, they won't receive any new Gun Broker auction win, nor will they receive any new handgun that you bought at Bud's for a discount. They will only receive used or collectible firearms. Period. I was told that in no uncertain terms by the guy behind the counter in April and I haven't gone back to Ace since. Yeah, I'm still irritated by the way I was talked to the last time I was there. Re: Trustworthy FFL in Washington, PA?
Ace is the worst. I have had good service a couple of times, but most of the time I have left shaking my head and I am a person who is very mellow and easy to get along with.
In looking for local ffl's for transfers, many list that they charge a transfer fee and state tax (this is from the directory on Gun Broker). Charging state tax is a rip-off. What are GunRunners terms for a transfer?

The customer service is horrible.
I hope Cabela's & Gander puts them out of business.

Which one is Keith. George is the owner. I would direct any comments concerning angry employees to him.
