Dunmore is basically just part of Scranton. But it has way cheaper property taxes.

Hello,

My name is christen and I have been resident of center city for about 3 years for grad school. I am from the dictatorship of Massachusetts where I was a member of the Northeast Shooters (ptrainerchris). I am happy to be in a free state but have just begun to get back into shooting since I moved here. I enjoy pistol, shotgun, and rifle was well as archery. joined up here because I miss northeast shooters, and while I have made many friends, Philadelphia is not very gun friendly so I do not have anyone to go to for opinions, advice or just general firearms camaraderie.

Hope to get to know some of you.

I signed up last week, and I failed to introduce myself. I'm Scott, originally from Michigan, came here via Colorado. I've lived here in Pennsylvania for almost eight years now and only just within the last year or so started getting back into firearms. I'm primarily a rifle shooter but do have my license to carry and my ACT-235.

Just joined. Moved to Roxborough from Baltimore, original from South Jersey. Joined to get info on LTCF for the Philadelphia area.

Did you get the info you needed? Welcome to the forum. Lots of great info here. Just watch out for people you may not know, one guy in particular. He comes off as nice and pleasant but he really just wants to eat your soul.

Yes I found a thread in the Philadelphia sub forum detailing the ltcf process. The new office is located in Juanita park and is only open from 830 to 1. I'll have to figure out when I can make those hours, but I suppose it's better than nothing.

Welcome new people. There is lots of good and lots of useless info on this website. The useless info is not the fault of the website though.

Yeah it sucks. When you set the bar to nothing It's easy for anything to better than that. I have the bar set to "Why is a permit needed?" You're just more optimistic than me and probably have a happier life.
