Default Small rattle with Beretta 92FS

hey, I have a question about my Beretta 92FS. This is my first pistol so I'm still learning about it. I field stripped it, cleaned, and reassembled it a few times no problem. Here's the thing, when I shake the gun I can hear something rattling slightly inside. It sounds like a small metal pin is hitting against the frame or something, it's not loud just a slight noise. Is this normal?

Is that with or without the mag inserted?
I'm only here for the wood c-rings.

    And is the magazine full?
On some mags, if not full, one bullet in the mag will be rattle around.

without inspecting the gun it is hard to say if anything is normal, but yeah, could be normal...the fit-up would be fairly loose on any service gun and could have a little rattle...

    Look for something like this:

It's been my experience with Beretta's that they don't fit the Knuder pin as tightly as possible. This allows for slightly higher reliability at the cost of a small rattle.

Let me get back to you on that. I'm going to be back home in PA tomorrow. I don't have the gun with me right now.

Did you tighten the Knuder pin?
